In 2014, during a time when local rice retailing was a struggle, GRAINSMART, positioned itself to provide the Filipino consumers a superior rice quality that is locally grown and is reasonably price. It is a 100% Filipino owned company that started with only 1 branch at Suki Market. Since then, it has grown to more than 500 branches nationwide that offers a network of the same line -up of rice quality and brand.

In 2016, GME was able to establish its own rice mill in Isabela that allowed the company to offer rice stocks at a much lower price than its competitors. It employs professionals that are highly skilled and knowledgeable in the rice retail/wholesale, investment and franchise business ready to assist new entrepreneurs in the rice industry.

Furthermore, we have been an active member of AFI and FIFA which guarantees that our business is aligned with the Franchising standards not only in the Philippines but the rest of the world since 2015. Needless to say, we have participated in several exhibits organized by MediaCom, PFA, AFI and FIFA. We also received prestigious awards from MediaCom as Best Selling Franchise in 2015 and as Best Rice Franchise Company under 2016 Most Trusted Consumer Brand from People’s Choice Award. We have also been an invitee in radio shows as well as in television. Not only do we offer a business but we provide the means to accomplish the success of it.​
