The major advantage of selling on some social networks is that your market may already be around. You just have to spread yourself by joining some selling groups or advertising to your friends.

Prerequisites on selling online. Well before anyone can sell anything, you should already have something to sell. So here is a very basic of selling.

Selling is selling, we need to have a steady supply of whatever it is we are selling or plan to sell. On facebook and elsewhere, there are people offering their goods for resellers.  On facebook, just type “Looking for Resellers” and you would find lots of products being offered.

Ok, you may choose and try to contact these wholesalers.  Be careful though, there are those who knowingly scam other people. It is always better to go to a wholesaler’s profile or personal page and look around for any warning signals.

Pages or personal pages of wholesalers that are full o activity conversation dealings might be one basis for considering a wholesaler but not the only one.  Always be careful, if you do not know the person or haven’t met them personally, it might be better to get goods on consignment.

Consignment is when a wholesaler offers to give(lend) you some of their goods for selling, then afterward or after an agreed period of time, they pull-out what they give to you minus those that you have sold.

The basic concept of profit. Income is the price difference between your cost (how much you pay the supplier for an item) and your price (how much you sold an item). Example, if your supplier (usually also the wholesaler), gives you, for example, a pair of scissors for P25. And you put it up for sale at P30 in your store, your profit would be P5 (P30-P25=P5).
